JUNE 2007 Brainstorm finished up the shooting of Yachdav in the first two weeks of June. Now they prepare to embark into post production where they will cut the footage together. the release of the movie is due the end of October 2007. APRIL 2007 Brainstorm Multimedia announces its official launch of EarthStationtTV.net set for Earth Day on April 20, 2007. Earth Station TV Network will have streaming video content focused on pertinent green and environmental issues. Users will eventually have the chance to submit their pieces to the Network for posting on the site. March 2007 Taping continues at the abramson center for jewish life as the children's chorus visited residents and members of the glee club in their homes. the children brought family heirlooms and pictures to show the residents. the day was concluded by a dance performance by the point breeze performing arts center that the residents and children enjoyed together. October 2006 Brainstorm Multimedia, in association with The abramson center for jewish life and Congregation Beth or, will begin production on a documentary showcasing the benefits of an intergenerational chorus of children and elderly citizens in their local community. Shooting will begin in November and last until june of 2007 when the group concludes with a joint concert series. release date of the film has not yet been determined. September 2006 The production of the Flower doc is complete. The magic penny Garden with stephanie flom chronicles an artist's 6 week residency at the chester springs studio where she invites and invigorates local gardeners to express and see their craft as an artform. throughout this process they colloborate to plant a circular magic penny garden. July 2006 In an effort to collect and produce environmentally conscious content, brainstorm has been on the fest circuit. brainstorm just finished production on it's short for the Green Valleys association Envirofest 2006 and is looking forward to covering the Midatlantic renewable energy association (M.A.R.E.A.) Energy fest 2006. The envirofest focused on watershed awareness while the M.A.R.E.A. Energy fest is focusing on renewable energy and sustainable living. September 2005 In Chester County, PA lies a visual arts center, Chester Springs Studio. Filming began for a flower documentary based around an artist residency with Stephanie Flom in September. Her concept of gardens-as-art have been an inspiration to local gardeners and to residents of the studio. September 17th & 18th 2005 The Coatesville Film festival Went off without a hitch! A theatre full of viewers enjoyed a weekend of independent and community film making. people were entertained with the likes of The Dance of the vignettes, the guerilla Drive-in and many workshops not to mention some other great films. 15-year old Cameron Munson won best student film for Explicit and Brian Liloila's green captured the best Short prize. Still we ride won best Documentary film, while Brian Cavallaro's In plain sight was awarded the reely for best professional film. All of this video was scaled down to a 4 hour 2 disc DVD set. The Coatesville Area Arts alliance and Brainstorm multimedia have partnered Together to give the community of Coatesville the first annual Coatesville Film Festival. The festival will take place on the weekend of Sept 17, 2005. Entry details will be forthcoming. November 14, 2004 This past Sunday, Brainstorm Multimedia's newest Independent Production "Great Scott! The Movie" debuted at the Coatesville area Arts Alliance's Fall Fundraiser held at victory brewing company. The event featured many different art avenues. a horticultural Banzai display and C3A's artistically painted drum towers surrounded the Big screen. There were also musical performances by the likes of Zan Gardner, Sensei Wheeler, and other local musicians. Shining Coatesville poets accompanied local laureate "Say" as the performed in a spoken word round. The highly successful night was capped by the screening of the film. for more information click here. September 11,2004 Brainstorm Multimedia participated in the 2nd annual phoenixville film festival on saturday september 11th. the theme was obvious as every one in the theatre bowed their head with a moment of silence for all those who have lost their lives. brainstorm's documentary Short "Ten questions" made it's film fest debut. the film, shot less than a week after the 9/11 tragedy, captures the spirit of The community (Good & bad) during the chester county restaurant festival of 2001. if you want to learn more about " ten question" email us. other films seen at the festival were: Jim Young's "The Monkey's Paw" and "Karma Quarantined"; a new film by director and the man who put the whole festival together, dan Fullam. Brainstorm & c3A team up to produce "Great Scott: The Movie" Brainstorm Multimedia has teamed up with the coatesville area arts alliance to produce a film documenting the maiden voyage of the great Scott community Celebration held in may of this year. the film is currently in post production and looks to debut in the coming months. Brainstorm Covers local Arts Festival The Coatesville area arts alliance is hosting a community celebration on the weekend of may 14th. "Great Scott" will be held at scott middle school in coatesville, pa and run friday through sunday. The event will showcase the local artists in the immediate and surrounding communities. Attractions range from night concerts to short plays to spoken word and horticultural workshops. Brainstorm Multimedia, Inc. To Promote The City of Coatesville, Pennsylvania Brainstorm Multimedia, Inc. was contracted to produce informational videos for the City of Coatesville’s “Weed and Seed” and "National Night Out" programs. The videos focus on the philosophy and function of the city’s chaplaincy program and town watch group. For the chaplaincy program, the city appointed six chaplans to act as liasons between the police department and the community at large. The town watch celebrated a national night out this summer and discussed the importance of a strong community that cares about what's happening around them. Both segments air on the city's local cable station, channel 66. April 26, 2003
